It's fabric day!

Hooray Hooray, it's fabric day!! Well, it is in my house anyway, thanks to the fabulous Modflowers - we have done a lovely birthday fabric swap, and I collected her parcel today (silly me was out when the postman came)...

She wrapped it so beautifully, and look what treasures I found when I opened the box of wonder...

Wowzers!! I am a a very happy fabric addict today, I can tell you.  I love that mini bunting so much, it's hanging in my kitchen doorway right now looking gorgeous.

I'm hoping we can make fabric day an annual tradition, I'm sure by her next birthday I'll have squirrelled away a good few treats to share.  Thanks again Modflowers, it's all beautiful! If you haven't seen her blog, please pop over to have a look at it - she makes lovely things with all those gorgeous fabrics, and sells them in her Etsy shop, so you can get yourself a bit of Modflowers deliciousness too!

    1. Hi, thanks for finding and following me! I certainly don't have trouble thinking of things to make; it's more trouble finding the time and space for sewing - but the kids have next week off and so does their Dad, so hopefully I'll get a bit of sewing time then - looking forward to playing with these new treats! :)

    1. Thanks Karen, yes I'm very pleased with the fabrics that Modflowers chose for me, she's got fab taste. She makes gorgeous bunting, I see she's got mini bunting for £5 a metre in her Etsy shop - if I didn't already have some I'd be sorely tempted! Hope you have a great half term break. xx

    1. Hi Cath, nice to have you here! Whereabouts in Bristol are you? I'm in Bedminster. I might be hosting a vintage fabric sale at a local craft shop soon, watch this space! I won't be selling any of the bits in the above photo, but I've got a lot of similar 60s and 70s prints - I'll be letting all my blog followers know as soon as the details are finalised, it'll be lovely if people pop in to say hi and have a browse. :)
