Wow, that's loads of followers! Can't remember if I follow you - will go have a look. You may end up with 2,223 followers :-) x
ReplyDeleteI'm really quite embarrassed about my Pinterest addiction, it's so sad! It's just that after a long day and a glass of wine I'm not safe to be near a sewing machine, and I find most TV so boring...I've always been a bit of a hoarder, so now I'm hoarding images! At least they don't take up shelf space...x
DeleteJust wanted to say thank you for your kindness over at mine :) xx well done on the followers too!
ReplyDeleteYou are so welcome, I hope you're feeling a bit brighter today. Support through the tough times is one of the reasons why blogging is so great! xx
DeleteOh gosh that Marrimeko suitcase is just gorgeous isn't it. Love that autumnal print too, I am looking forward to embracing autumn now having finally given up on the summer!
ReplyDeleteI adore that suitcase, I may have to buy a plain white one and go mad with my sharpies in an attempt to replicate its' gorgeousness! Yes autumn is properly here, I love this time of year - though I understand it would be easier to be happy about if the summer had been sunnier! xx
Deleteyes cant start oin interest would really never get any thing done or finished.
ReplyDeleteLove your choices............our first walk in the big wide world with Cookie is tomorrow!
No Tracey, don't go there...it's horribly addictive. I will probably have to give it up one day if I ever actually want to get anything else done! Hope Cookie enjoys her first walk, I'm excited for you! xx
DeleteThese are all lovely. I really must get my act together re Pinterest, I miss so much! I tend to steer clear precisely because its such a time eater
ReplyDeleteOh Annie if you go down the road of worrying about what you're missing on Pinterest, it's a very slippery slope! There's always great stuff on there but you can't pin it all! x
DeleteLove pinterest and I love to see the new images you are pinning ... I love it too but don't visit all the time ... then I find myself catching up :) ... Bee xx
ReplyDeleteThink it's time I had a few days off it Bee - I've got some sewing projects that I've been neglecting, I've had a rotten cold but once I'm feeling better I'll be swapping virtual pins for a real needle and thread. I do love it though, there's so much inspiring craftiness going on out there! xx
DeleteWow, I love that quilt! People are so clever aren't they? I would never have the patience or tenacity to make something like that I'm afraid. Though perhaps it would do me good to try... like a lesson in dedication and taking your time. Do I follow you on Pinterest? I shall go check.

Hello lovely! Yes I love that quilt, I'm thinking of doing a smaller version (in my own style, with vintage fabrics of course) as a cushion cover. Patchwork is great fun but is definitely easier if you can be quite neat and methodical - not something I find comes naturally to me, but the improved results are a good incentive! I'm pretty sure we follow each other on Pinterest, I'd better check too! xx
DeleteHi Rachel, you now have 2,267 followers!! When I'm on Pinterest and the time ticks by, I'm reminded of a poster I once saw which read "Ma'am, move away from the computer"!!! Love it!
ReplyDeleteHi Trudy! Yes it's funny, I get more every day, whether I add new pins or not...I do tell myself off if I spend too long on there, and I won't go on it when the kids are around...it's a late evening activity for me, when I don't want to go to bed yet but I don;t trust myself to use the sewing machine cause I've had a glass of wine...or two! xx
