autumn splendour...

Yes I know we're all posting autumn pictures at the moment, but hey, you can never have too many pictures of trees, right?  After a very grey week last week the sun has come out here, and the light is beautiful.  We went for a lovely woodland walk on Saturday, and I'm very glad I took my camera...

We all felt better for spending time out in nature, and a certain furry someone really enjoyed himself...

It's very hard to take photos of him outside, he never stays still for long enough - most of them end up as a silvery blur!  I hope you're having a good week.

    1. Thanks Jen - it's a wonder I didn't end up flat on my face in a puddle, I spent half the walk gazing up at the leaves against the sky! And yes, I know I'm biased but he is a little cutie pie. x

  10. I love crunching around in leaves. I even persist long after they have fallen and are more like general mush. A squelch can be almost as satisfying as a crunch...actually I think I'm kidding myself, but the coloured leaves are magical.

    1. Autumn leaves are wonderful - I definitely prefer a crunch to a squelch though! But yes the sound of them, the colours, the way they swirl in the air as they fall...it's a great time of year.
