{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a
moment from the week.
A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I
want to pause, savor and remember. Via Soulemama.
I had this set when I was little and really loved it - but no my boys are loyal Lego obsessives, the joys of Fuzzy-Felt are unfortunately lost on them! x
Yes I had a real moment of childhood nostalgia when I found that box at my friends house. We are currently learning what it's like to have a toy-eating dog - my floors are much tidier than they used to be! x
Hi Pippa, and thanks - this was a proper 'snap' - no time for artful styling, but it seems to have worked. The blog banner's quite new, and I still love it - the images are from my favourite piece of vintage fabric, cleaned up in Photoshop by a helpful friend and then arranged in Picmonkey by me. Was great fun to design, and I'm glad you like it! x
Oh ... that's a blast from the past .... I loved Fuzzy Felt when I was little ... probably explains the felty addiction now ... have a lovely weekend ... Bee xx
Ha ha I expect you're right Bee - amazing how strongly we are influenced by these things! I remember a lot of amazing patterns from my childhood, so 70s...definitely where it all started for me. And those bright Fuzzy Felt colours - gorgeous! x
Hello and thanks for reading, if you'd like to leave a comment that would be lovely! I read them all and will try to answer any questions, so if you've asked one please do check back here! x
Fuzzy felt! this is on my (err, I mean the children's) Christmas list this year! x
ReplyDeleteI was at a friends house and came across this box, I just had to have a little play with it! Go on, treat yourself/them! x
DeleteAh yes gosh I loved those when I was a kid, sadly my sons never saw the attraction Lego wins for them every time!

DeleteGoodness that took me back. I loved that stuff as a kid, although my own kids used to have to contend with the dog eating theirs!
