Super smile! The lampshade looks very professional! Mine would be wonky I'm sure! I keep seeing the more elaborate one in the charity shops but wouldn't know where to start! Have a great weekend! Ada :)
He is a little smiler!! That lampshade was NOT my first attempt Ada, that is hanging in my upstairs hall and I don't like visitors looking at it too closely cause the edges are not very professionally finished at all!
Like anything I have got better with practice, but I am still a relative lampshade amateur - check out Folly & Glee's lovely blog and shop to see what you can do with vintage fabric, a fancy lampshade frame and a LOT of skill! Have a lovely weekend. xx
Hi Gillian, yes my sofa is piled high with colourful bits and pieces, much to partner's dismay - he doesn't see the point of cushions!! My boys love to pile it all up to make nests and dens. And I've just noticed at the bottom of the picture you can see my lunch which was balanced on my knee, and happened to be on a very pretty vintage plate that day - most of our plates are quite plain, but that one is a favourite of mine! Hope you have a lovely weekend. xx

DeleteThat is a real happy face. A really real one :)
ReplyDeleteFunny you should say that - he just pulled that face a minute ago, and I said ' I love your cheeky face' and he replied 'that's my happy face'! x
