colour therapy...

Today we went to an amazing, immersive art/music installation called Colourscape.  It's brilliant, for kids and adults.  It travels around, if you ever get a chance, go.  We loved it.

The lovely Lottie of Oyster & Pearl blogged about it a few days ago, with lots of information about the project and amazing photos. If you haven't read her blog, do, it's gorgeous!  Anyway, I loved it so much I just wanted to share.

It's in Bath for one more day, then in London in September - photos are no substitute for being in it, it's a strange and magical thing.

Hope you have a lovely Bank Holiday Monday.

Rachel xx

  4. That looks amazing, there are some wonderful exhibitions to inspire children aren't there. We had one here in Brisbane that looked like a fairyland made out of sugar and salt- must dig up some photos and share. melx

    1. Oh do go when it's in London if you can, it'll be on Clapham Common - just google Colourscape and you can find out the dates. It is really different, the photos really don't do it justice, it's fascinating how the different colours affect people emotionally. x

    1. It certainly was colourful! I've been meaning to use these fabric scans for a new header for ages, then last night I got carried away on Picmonkey, and voila. I'm really pleased with it, think I'll be keeping it like this for a while! xx

As for the doggie, she is lovely, but expect no sleep and lots of accidents, its like having a baby with no nappy on!! x

    1. Oh yes do go, I'm sure you'll love it! My partner was the one who said he wanted a dog so I have made it very clear that he is totally in charge of training and housetraining it - luckily he works partly from home so hopefully that'll work ok most of the time! Fingers crossed...x

  12. Is this by Architects of Air? If not, it looks very similar to their Luminaria - inflatable sculptures you can walk inside. They tour their work regularly all over the world but are based locally to me and visit Nottingham in June usually each year for the kids drama festival at the University of Nottingham. Worth seeing - we've been loads of times and loved it every time! http://www.architects-of-air.com/
LOVE your new header BTW! x
