Yippee, within an hour of listing those lovely fabrics yesterday I had my first sale, here it is all ready to wrap & send...
I'm also doing fabric swaps with the lovely Modflowers and the wonderful Jenny of The Custards, I sent these on Thursday and I'm hoping they might arrive today, though that may be over-optimisitic!
I'm afraid the reused tissue paper and hastily hand drawn labels look a bit naff, I need to invest in some pretty washi tape and some business cards and stickers - so I hope I sell some more fabric soon...
I'm off to the Post Office now to send my first Ebay parcel, Yay!
Happy Saturday, hope you're having fun.
Well I now know that Modflowers did get her parcel, if you want to know what I sent and whether or not she liked it, click the link! x

ReplyDeleteIt went like a hot cake Jen, and the Dekoplus has sold now too - need to list some more asap! x
DeleteHo ho - was just about to send an email but will now post my grateful thanks here. Very lovely - the bunny fabric is gorgeous and thank you so much for rescuing the Crinoline Lady. I will make her into something special and post a photo - I may take a while but it will be done. All the best with your ebay shop - it sounds sad but I take huge pleasure in sending off parcels and lap up all the lovely comments that people have sent. I am sure that you will have fun
ReplyDeleteMany thanks once again
Love Jenny...not so grumpy today!!!
Oh I'm so pleased you like it all Jenny - the bunny fabric was given to me by my Granny when I was little, I love it but I haven't used it in 30 odd years so thought it was time to share it - don't worry I kept a bit for myself! I thought the lilac floral might make a nice lining for a bag, I don't think if it's very old but it's pretty. Glad the parcel cheered you up! Rachel xx
DeleteOh I find that so moving Rachel - how very thoughtful. I was looking at the bunny fabric again this morning thinking was could I make that would have extra specialness. It will be loved. I too have sent things that has meant something to myself to others - I love that as it is sharing the 'specialness' around I think. If I reduce the recipient to tears then it is a job well done (in a good way!).Back school tomorrow!
DeleteByeee Jenny
I do like to share the specialness Jenny! The more people who get to enjoy something lovely the better. Mixed feelings about the end of the holidays here, it's been great fun but I think we might be in need of a return to the routine, we've gone a bit feral! x
