family of 5....

Yes, our boy has arrived!! And oh my goodness, so far we couldn't have asked for a smoother and easier settling in.  It was a long drive to collect him, so I stayed at home with the boys and F took his brother, our dog-sitter in waiting, to cuddle Floyd on the way home.

When they got back I gave him a cuddle and he sat on my lap while the boys came to say hello...and then he had a quick sniff about, climbed into M's lap, and fell asleep!! A totally amazing, gorgeous little pup.

He has spent all day playing, and napping, and eating, and napping, and a bit of pooing, and napping...we've still got his first night to get through, there may be some whining, maybe even howling...we will see.  It will take us a while to adjust to our new family member, but it's safe to say we are all totally smitten.

I hope that whatever you are getting up to, you are having a lovely Saturday.

Rachel xx

  5. Aaaaaah I love him! :)
Bit of advice that we were given, harden your heart for tonight and all will be well tomorrow night. It worked for Morten even though I practically had to be restrained at the top of the stairs! Good luck and enjoy him, he is absolutely beautiful xxx

  7. Yay for having the cute little fella home now! He is adorable. And that picture where he sleeps...my love was looking up when I went all Aww and Owww here on the sofa, lol! Make sure to give him something to cuddle up to tonight, like a stuffed animal or something, they seem to like that right?! Whenever you need a sitter, call me, I'll take the first flight to my fav country. :) Good luck and much fun with the little man! Enjoy your Sunday!!

  10. Ah Lovely, hope your first night went well.
He looks adorable, looking forward to hearing all your tales, we can exchange notes!!
Our pup is now 13 weeks, I think the beginning was so tough as she was ill, but we now only have 4 more days and she can go on the street, she now sleeps all night and doesnt have too many accidents.
    Have lots of fun!
