{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a
moment from the week.
A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I
want to pause, savor and remember. Via Soulemama.
They really were! Max led the way, and even Rufus with his little legs just kept going till we reached the top! Hope you have a fab weekend too. Rachel x
Just lovely! How old is your youngest boy? Mine is 2 1/2 and I am wondering whether to start taking him for little walks when we go to the Peak District later this month.
Hi love, he is 3 next month, and although the Tor is very steep he enjoyed walking up it, he did ask to be carried at one point but we just slowed down a bit - he jumped down every step on the way back down! I'd say go for it, just be prepared to go at his pace - it's great fun taking them on adventures! x
That is a delicious photograph you have there - there is something poignant and uplifting about seeing your children from behind (does that make any sense!!!). Maybe it is to do with them walking away...oh dear now I have come over all melancholic! Treasure the days Best wishes Jenny
Thank you Jenny, I know exactly what you mean - it is bittersweet to watch them growing away from us, spreading their wings and going out to explore the world. And I love the way Rufus's body language echoes M<ax's - he adores him so much, total hero worship! Lots of love to you! Rachel x
