I love the randomness of children's creative minds, the way they pluck seemingly disparate concepts and combine them in new and hilariously unpredictable ways. I could do with a bit of that sometimes, I think I often tread quite a well worn path with my own creativity. Here's hoping for a quick recovery for M, and that a bit of his crazy 6 year old randomness rubs off on his old Ma while he's at home.

Hmm I don't think I would have ever have put victorian, hamster and warrior into the same sentence! Get well soon Max! x
ReplyDeleteI know, it was a truly random phrase, which is why I asked him to draw it for me - I love to get a record of these funny moments, it's all too easy to let them pass almost unnoticed and then they're gone for ever. My Ru is poorly too, so it's a bit of a rubbish day round here - get well soon to you too! x

ReplyDeletethanks Fiona, don't worry it's definitely going to get framed, and I've written the title on the back so I won't ever forget!
